POWER PRAISE MOVES by Laurette Willis is the Christian alternative to Yoga. With segments split up between standing, sitting, abs, etc., you can make several combinations to personalize your work-out. Moves are described as you go, and as you hold each position, scripture is quoted. I don’t necessarily agree with other reviewers that this DVD could be used by all ages and fitness levels. Because of the level of stretching and holding that is required to get a beneficial workout, I feel beginners would be easily frustrated with the routines provided.
True to Yoga, this is a slow moving workout, which means you have to have ample time to devote to this program. If that is understood by the participant, it will be enjoyed. But for anyone that wants cardio or a routine they have to fit into an already busy schedule, they will have to find it somewhere else.
