LOVE IS A BATTLEFIELD is a quirky read, enjoyable, but not too deep. After being jilted at the altar Kristy O'Neal can't wait to get back to her job at the Shiloh National Military Park, only to find out her job has been given to Ace Kennedy. Immediately, there's something between Kristy and Ace. Of course, Kristy refuses to acknowledge it. She's done with love. Ace on the other hand, finds Kristy refreshing and wants to get to know her better.
I enjoyed LOVE IS A BATTLEFIELD but probably wouldn't have picked it up if I had seen the cover first. I'm not into quirky. I like stories with a little more meat. But this is just one more example of not judging a book by its cover. A pleasant read.
